I’m in Mojave!

Made it to town this morning. I decided against walking the pavement (10 miles) and hitch hiking. Instead I called the tehachapi taxi service to come pick me up. There were a bunch of their business cards in the trail register at oak creek and they were listed in yogis guide. So I paid the 20 bux and voila! Enjoyed some food and a shower and ready to get picked up! I did it! And I feel pretty good. Lots of reflections this week and I am confident this will lead to a great new chapter in life. Oh and I still have baby fever lol. That is still a big part of the next chapter. ๐Ÿ™‚

Next week is Mexico to whitewater! Woo hoo! And with the hubby. Even better ๐Ÿ™‚

Way to go, and smart! I’d take a taxi too, unless the trail angel was a really well known quantity. Loved your blogs and the great photos, including the feet .. that stretch along the aqueduct must be brutal. Good info on the water conditions. You might want to post updates on the water sources you observed at http://www.pcta.org
because right now there are no posts for that area since mid Feb.
Enjoy WW and the next leg.
